How to Submit a Car Insurance Claim
Follow these simple steps to start and track your motor insurance claim.
Step 1 
Ensure Safety & Report the Incident
Make sure everyone is safe and seek medical assistance if needed.
If applicable:
- Lodge a police report (within 24 hours)
- Take photos of the scene and vehicle damage
- Record important details of the incident
Step 2 
Contact Your Insurer & Submit Required Documents
Notify your insurer as soon as possible and follow their claims process.
Be prepared to provide:
- Date, time, and location of the incident
- Description of what happened
- Police report (if applicable)
- Photos of the damage
- Driver's licence
- Vehicle registration documents
- Other supporting documents requested by your insurer
Step 3 
Assessment & Repair
Your insurer will assess the claim and guide you on the next steps.
Depending on your claim:
- Vehicle inspection may be required
- Repairs may be carried out at an approved panel workshop
- Additional information may be requested before approval
